What's the deal with bronze cam bearings..... Are they still available; and from where? Can you use them in a "street" engine with success? thanks, Steve Walsh
There is no reason to have to run a bronze cam bearing. If that's what it takes to make a bearing live in any particular motor, then there are other issues that need to be addressed. I have not lost a cam bearing in a long time... in fact, only recall ever losing them on one motor.. including roller cam motors, with their monster valve spring pressure. I am not aware of any source for this type of bearing, nor any need. JW
