The car is drag race only use.

Hi jim, As of now the car is drag raced only and trailered to the track.

I am running 29x9x15 hoosier slicks and my gear ratio is 390.

My drive shaft is a custom one piece and balanced. Also the yoke is heavy duty and the U joints are too.

Let me know what you think. Hell i might go with your full spool set up.
I would rather do it right the first time.

I am very mechanicly inclined and can set up and shim the rear with a dial indicator. But i do not consider to be the rear expert.

So let me know your thoughts on this matter.

    Thanks Billy.

    differential set-up opinion

I would go with the full spool 30 spline with the moser aftermarket axles 30 spline. That should do for a while on the rear. I just ordered a set 3-4 days ago ...There gonna laugh when they get another order just like it....lol. Tell them to give you the same axles JD race / Jims Differential got. Outside seal a-9 bearing get the flanges drilled for both pressin and 1/2 inch race studs. 29 3/4 inch long. Hope this helps. Jim

The spool bearings will be the 102910 and 102949 Take care, Jim

    Good advice Jim!
Only good luck I've ever run across with a minispool on the street was in a locals small block powered S10. The rear is a shortened 12 bolt bought out the paper. I set-up two sets of gears for this fellow. The 2nd time, he had just changed to a 700R4, & at the time I was getting new 3 series Eaton carriers for $270... still was too cheap to buy one :(

    30 spline Full spool.

Hi jim, A quick couple of questions.

    1. Moser custom alloy axles, Do they have the holes on the flanges like the stock ones do so you can get to the bolts on the bearing plates.
If not what method do you use to bolt the axles back in.

    2. How much do you want for a 30 spline full spool with new bearings pressed on ready to bolt in and for a 390 gear ratio.

    Thanks Billy.

    Axles

Yes, trhey are custom made...you can actually tell them what you want. The axles I had made have stock and race stud application holes and one access hole for removal of the retaining plate bolts for the axles. They are very nice. Plus extremely stronger.

Spool I have a couple here. with bearings installed probably 160.00 plus 10 shipping. Ok. Jim

The 390 gears are 159.00 shipping is 10 also

if you get both together 15.00 for shipping. Jim
