Broke my needle?

    Well this blows! Jumped into my GS to pull out today and put it into "R" then into "D" but the problem is it is staying in "P'! Yep my shift needle on the colum is staying in park? Is this something broken or loose? How do you get to this? I can live with this but................. it's not right!

    Sounds like the grear indicator clip is broken?
    Remove the steering column cover on the bottom of the dash under the steering wheel(piece of cake), and have a look see at it.

    Maybe something easy like this.
