    I would have loved to be a cop driving that Dodge. What a blast. They must have had to fill those things with gas three times a day. Hysterical.

    I have a friend who's wife is an Illinois State Trooper and he told me one day that his wife said that the state had 16-19 of the GN cars, one for each district, and that they were licensed with regular plates rather than state plates, lights behind the grilles, etc.. I gotta believe there were more than a few surprised offenders who tried to get away from them.

    I remember a GS club newsletter photo years ago with a Tennessee I think cop who was like 6’9” standing next to his Grand National patrol car. Pretty cool.
