After getting the cowl grate stripped and primed, I thought I would start sticking some shiny stuff back on the car. The W and L on the trunk are in tough shape, so we are looking for substitutes.

The lines are really straight. This was after I brought her out of Canada but before I backed into a tree at BG.

The pot metal tail panel is still a little tweaked, but it wouldn’t take much to swap it out with a better one. It’s tweaked in the center of the right taillight. I believe that’s from a previous accident. Your handy work got the quarter and extension.

Hood and some shiny stuff went back on today. Also worked out some electrical gremlins.

Only problem now thats shes all pretty and straight is keeping it like that. . Used to not be really concerned about when and where I drove it and a knick , ding or scratch wouldnt really matter.

I dropped off the bumpers in June …estimated 12-16 weeks. Still waiting. This is literally the last thing to do on the car.

PIcked up the car from Adam 2 weeks ago. I looked at the national weather map before deciding to make the trip up and to me looked all clear. Id suck as a weatherman! We hit a cold front moving across the country in northern Tenn and by the time we got to Il. it was snowing, blowing and black ice on the road. Made the trip with little problems. Way to many backups and slow traffic. Was a cluster F at the hotel close to Adams place. . Got the car loaded and headed south. Got it home and been doing a few little cosmetic upgrades. Had forgotten how nice this car rides and drives.
