    wasn't 68' a little early for the CB craze?....seems like early to mid 70's:confused:

    I have one of these that is missing the mike. It was sourced from Lafayette Radio, made in Japan, packaged for Buick.

    They were dealer accessories til 1973. I have one in my '68 GS400 Convertible, my Dad bought for a buck. It works, haven't used in a while, though!

    Cool upgrade IMO. What kind of antenna did they use though and where was it normally mounted?

    Didn't even know they were available back then, but it is listed in the '68 body and parts book under accessories.
    Fits all '60 - '68 Buicks, and probably later years, it also has a seperate part no. for the cb antenna :Do No:

    I think these had a separate antenna that clamped to the forward edge of the trunk lid. Later factory CB's that were integrated with the regular radio used just one antenna with a splitter.
