I had a problem all a sudden with my brakes. A lot of pedal travel. I adjusted the rears and no better. The master cylinder was not pulling air. Then replaced the master cylinder, no better. Then replaced the front calipers and have no travel just stopping power (???????). The square cut seal should automaticly adjusted the clearances as the pads wear. I can only think the travel was from the caliper not working properly  , AL.

If the sliders on your calipers can't move and are frozen in one spot that will cause a low pedal. :Smarty:

    Brake Problems

Joe, good point :Smarty: but what threw me off was the car did not pull and stopped straight  . Well we know one thing it was in the front calipers for sure, because after the the calipers were replaced the pedal came up to near "0" travel :) AL
