I am selling a 1960 Buick LeSabre 4 door sedan.
It too is blue with a white top, but the blue appears a little darker than the ones shown in the pictures from the movie.

 

Does Phoebe Kates come with it? If so, I'm interested.

 

One has to wonder if that car could still be around somewhere? Was that Cal. license plate on the back of the car in the pics in the above posts a genuine issue from the DMV or just a movie prop, anyone know anyone who could still run that plate today to see if it is still legit?

I found the twin to the "Ridgemont High" Buick in Ga. .

It was on season 4 episode 1 of American Restoration but Rick couldn't take the project on. The car was used in several movies after Fast Times, In Naked Gun 33 1/3 it was painted gold and a sun roof was added.

 

...really glad this thread is back to life. Might have to put the DVD back in the machine; even if that one scene is all wore out.

 

Back in the day, it was all VHS, and rental clerks had to fix the tape at that scene all the time due to constant ff and rewinding. True fact.

 

Brads bud at the pirate fast food place was Nicolas Cage! He didn't get the role of Brad and Judge got it.

Great movie. Kinda like my youth, that one and Dazed and Confused.

 

I bought a copy of the script for that movie. Amazing the changes that were made from that.

I love that movie, came out a year after I graduated HS and it is still my favorite movie.

I indoctrinated my boys into that movie and I think I have 3 very solid fans. To ever watch it as a family now, everybody is spouting lines and god save you if you mess one up. I sent my middle son a text and picture of Brad washing the car and said, 6 more payments and this fine four door cruising machine is all mine. He immediately returned a text saying, no, cruising vessel.
