Jeff, we kind of have a group, with Mike G. (Racebuicks) as our fearless leader.
Hopefully we'll be a little more active this year.
Keep your eyes open for event announcements.

We don't really have anything that is "organized" by definition. But we do have a group that travels together to most of the area events. And we also have the "Hick Click" HAHAHAHA. That takes special admission AFTER a tutorial lesson. OK, moving on. We have a few things that happen here in the state and surrounding area. The schedule is pretty simple and pretty fun. its fun going and seeing the "family". Feel free to drop me a email or PM and we will get you in the loop. Heres a schedule of sorts that I am using this year................(subject to change of course)

May- GSCA Nats in Bowling Green
June- Pontiac race in Topeka(not a fixed date yet. Mike ????)
July- Great Plains Buick Challenge, Kearney Nebr.(this is my race and getting really popular with the "locals")
August- end of the month/first of Sept. Rocky Mountain GSCA chapter club race. I have info coming in on this now, and will keep you updated. This is a BLAST too. Those guys have waayyyyyyy too much fun !!!
Sept.- ?????? I usually hit the big $$$ race in Kearney.
Oct.- First of the month- hillbilly races in Atwood(long story haha). OR I am SERIOUSLY(!!!!!!)looking at the race in Vegas this year. Towards the end of the month- Fords vs. Buicks in Noble Ok. Heads up 2 outa 3 deal. Never been but Garrison and Falley rave about it. On my list this year.

So theres a full summer for ya. These are mostly the races we have in the area, and spread out so a working man can save for a few weeks in between to attend them. Or in my case, build and install a new motor, lol, I popped 3 in the "Hate Tank" last year on "tour". Also I have a idea or two in mind for more non-race related events. I don't really like traveling for days on end to an event. Thus the schedule closer to home. If there is anything else I can help with, like I said, drop me a line and I will help all I can.

I think I better start a newsletter for all of us in the area. Been thinking about it......ANY interest ???????????

    BCA Chapter

Another option is the Buick Club of America has a Mid-America Chapter, may not be in your area but you can email dajh@kcnet.com for details.

Not too many younger guys in our area here with the BCA but here in Topeka we also have the big picnic at MAtt Gordons in August which after thet we all travel in a pac to the local cruise night. Nothing more fun than 12 -15 BUICKS rumbling into the lot!!!

Also we have several races we go to around here just for fun. Keep in touch mike@mrbuick.com

I have a deal coming together to put a gathering at the Chassis Dyno here so we all can get together in a picnic situation and have access to a dyno too for the day.

    OK Jeff,

I didn't know if anyone remembered that, lol. Maybe I will get something put together again, and make it a regional thing. Let me do some asking around and see what I can "drum up" for address' for those interested. Maybe an issue every 3 months so I have time to fill it up. And just do it on copy paper to keep some costs down. a couple pages should go for cheap through the mail(I wonder how I know that, lol).

Anyone interested in being on the mailing list send me a mailing address and we'll give it a go. First of the year, looks like I better get to work on the Jan./Feb./Mar. issue.

And thanks again Jeff. Just so you know, I will be blaming a headache on you at sometime in the future :pp :pp

    Get me some address' yall.....................

I am making a list of mailing address' now. Email to buickdav@yahoo.com if you want included. Got no idea what costs will be but it should be cheap. Basic paper and postage type deal, with an occasional ink cartridge tossed in. My times donated. I just don't have enough to do HAHAHA.......
