Had a great time in BG again this year. Was able to defend my bracket 1 win from last year with a repeat yesterday. Really want to thank Ron Joesph for help getting enter and ticket to Super 16. Wasn't able to get there until Friday afternoon. Also want to thank Charlie Evans as usual for a great engine that just keeps on ticking. And a GREAT surpise when I reached the final and Bobb Markley came by and said come back to the tower after the run, they had money for me because I had their decal on the car. The final was a great race. WE were both dialed 10.60 and it was a heads up start and about side by side all the way down. I knew I had taken the line but didn't know who won (no down track lite) until I saw the white ticket in the hand of the track offical. That's what we do this for! Again thanks Ron, Charlie , Jef and Bobb.

    Another Runner-up

It was a good race Jim, I'd like to have had a better reaction time but I was still feeling the effects of turning on the red light in the finals of Fridays "big buck" gamblers race. so...I talked myself into not red lighting & we know that means that I was late. The yellow slip meant my 3rd. runner-up finish of the week(the other was a semi-final finish)not a bad week, but sure would have liked at least one win! I'd also like to thank Geof & Bobb (FINISHLINE MOTORSPORTS) for the runner-up check & their help through out the week & beyond! See you in the finals next time!

    YEAH!

Thanks to everyone and especially Geof and Bobb, for the contingency $$$! Finishline is FIRST CLASS! They even took alot of pictures of the 3 contingency winners in the winners circle, which I bet Amy will have on their web site sometime soon.

Next year is 20 yrs for me attending, and like the Michigan Buick Performance Club(aka Michigan Chapter) web site says: "We leave BG already talking about next year!!"
