Well I won the auction for the 67. I'm going to try and look at it later today. Anything special I should look over first? Then I need to decide what motor is going to be used. I bought it with the intentions of making a sleeper out of it. I thought a 455 would work good in it. Any thought on that? I'm sure it has been done before, any comments on how it fits? Thanks, Dan http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&item=4511604866&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT
Dan, this may sound strange!! Dan, this may sound strange, but make sure it's a 67 and not a 66 with a 67 front on it(can't see the back end well in any shot). The interior does't look right for 67 Skylark door panels, instrument panel knobs are 66 for sure, and steering wheel, etc. Then again, it could have just had some things swapped out in it over the years.
also noticed Dan, it has a single master cyl instead of a dual, again a change between 66 & 67 - the valve covers also appear to be 66 along with several other things that are not 67 correct - hope this helps some
