Paid for parts a month ago - said he sent them - but when I told him I had not recieved them, he went dark - have not heard from him since. When I researched his name/good guy bad guy status, there were comments that Dave would come through. As he is always so busy........ to those folks I say - you have time to post - but not time to send? That is nuts - I have filed a claim with Paypal to get my funds back. (a paltry $22.00) What a shame. Buickstaged
How did he send them ?.....had to be USPS at that price.Do you trust USPS to get a package to you now days.....do you trust that nobody steals from your mailbox or doorstep ? I would give him the benefit of doubt. I have known him personally for 20+ years.....this is the LAST thing i would expect from Dave. Was it a part he only had one of ? ....if so what do you expect him to do......be out a part plus the $$ if it's not his fault. If he does not chime in.....i will call and get his input. He is the last person i would expect do someone wrong.......... We need a little more info.......was it USPS......if so do you know your carrier ? I will help if i can....... Peace WildBill
Wild Bill - the parts did show up via UPS this week. If you read the other posts, you will find that he follows the same approach - or has with others as well. In regard to USPS - I am not, nor have I ever been an employee of USPS - did you know that the majority of the parcels that move for USPS are flown on either a FDX or UPS airplane - they are also sorted in the FDX or UPS sorting facilities. Six years ago, USPS service went from mid 80% on time to almost 96% +. This is due to the "moving" of packages/parcels on FDX or UPS flights. I will say it again - if you have time to post to sell something, you better have time to send it. I waited for the parts for over a month - I had to obtain the parts I bought from Dave from another parts dealer, now I have a set that I don't need. Three times I asked him to replace the funds in paypal as I no longer needed them - he didn't, he sent them instead. You can "defend" Dave all you want, however, there is no place on the board (or any others) for that type of activity. Regards, b

Dave sent me a balancer that i ordered from him in a fairly timely manner considering what he had going on at the time. He kept pretty good comunication once we hooked up.:TU:
