You can have a finished part at cost for helping. Only need 1 car thanks.
I would love to see a picture of this. Are there pics available? And, might this loop work with my TH200-4r transmission?
Sorry guys but the site kept producing errors on the browser and will not even let me delete the duplicates! IE and Firefox....not sure what's up. Gary
No, you are not suppose to break the driveshaft on purpose to see if the loop works! Didn't you volunteer for a broken crankshaft test? o No:  Jim
Hi Steve, Have you found a guinea pig yet? I have a 1969 Chevelle SS396 w/ auto. I'll be glad to try it out. I also have a car lift so.... I can take pictures for you at any angles necessary. Tom.
Jeff, Yes I have them. $65 plus shipping. I need your zip. Tom, I need a TH350 car or manual trans. I'm guessing yours would be TH400 which I allready have completed.
68-72 Chevelle with TH-350 or manual trans are now ready. Just in time for Christmas. ( tell your wives) Thanks
I need one of these for a 65 Skylark with a TH200-4R using the stock 300 cross-member slid back to accommodate the extra trans length. What are the instructions for ordering? Thanx, Steven
Steven, PM sent. There are variations in the crossmembers used from 64 to 72 and between the BOP brands. Also they could have been swapped with other years or types in their 40+ years of life. To be sure you get the correct loop I'll need to know what your crossmember looks like. There are 3 basic types: Rear lip horizontal, 1" wide as measured above the lip. Commonly found on Olds cars. Rear lip horizontal, 1 1/2" wide as measured above the lip. Commonly found on Buicks. Rear lip formed upwards, partway or all the way across under the trans. Commonly found on Pontiacs See attached photos.
