The 2barrel in my 'lark has a severe stumble when its floored. This only happens sometimes.... its very random. Are there any quick fixes for it, or should i just rebuild the 4barrel i have sitting around for it and slap that and the intake on it?

Usually in bogging cases the culprit is the accelerator pump. It could happen sometimes depending on the temperature and how quiclky you floor it. Since the problem would probably need to be rectified by rebuilding, you might as well rebuild the 4 barrel and use that since it sounds like you already have the stuff you need anyways.

You must take the carb apart to replace the accel pump. Just buy a rebuild kit and get to it. It's pretty simple. I did my 2bbl for my first rebuild ever on my 71 LeSabre. You can only learn by doing it!

You usually can only get an accelerator pump as part of a rebuild kit, and by the time you get to the pump, it's easy to do the whole kit thing, the 2-bbl is an easy carb to do. If you run into a snag, let us know! :TU:

Well, the car has already sold... much faster than i thought it would. So i wont be doing the rebuild on it. Neither will the guy that bought it.. he's stuffing a 455 in it! :3gears:
