Looks like youll have to make some calls and get some quotes. I did this myself in the 80s (see pic in my signature), so I know whats involved, but I couldnt tell you what a shop would charge. You have some options... Some like to have the trigger (momentary switch) on the outside of the vehicle, which obviously presents some security problems. The way to go these days is a two channel remote, giving you the option to trigger either the left or right door. VPA is a good source for the electronics involved. Keep in mind with a battery problem youll need another way to get in without breaking a window. Id give you more info but then anybody reading this would be able to get into my car! Devon
