Hey everyone, can anyone give me some pointers on replacing the body mounts on a '64 Riviera? Where can I get them, how difficult is it to change them( the new ones wouldn't be as compressed as the old ones and I was wondering do you have to take the body off to do this?) ??? Thanks for help, Kelly
Your in Texas and your car needs body mounts ? As for if they make them as far as i know nobody does, but i could be wrong !
Since it is bushing you are replacing, there is no need to take it off the frame. You can get them in there without all that extra work. I did it on a 70 Skylark with no problems. Check with "CARS" in N.J for the bushings.
Jarrod, where do you suggest I go to get the bushings? Surely they are the same for the bigger buicks...I can't see GM using all different ones ....surely not. Kelly
"CARS" is the name of the place i think there in Neshanic , NJ. I know you can get the from Year One for the other GM vehicles. Search under : Chevy Impala - that should help you out. Jarrod
