Body ID Trim Number

    The body id plate on my 71 GS has a trim number of 165, lower body color of 43 and upper body color of A.

    I believe the trim number of 165 identifies Pearl White interior, trim number 43 is Lime Mist and upper body color A as White (vinyl). Is this correct? Please advise.

    165 is Ivory. 43 is Lime mist & A is white vinyl.

    Thanks for the info.guys. So if I order Pearl White interior from Legendary for my 71 I should be ok. Pearl White is the only White they carry for the 71 GS in their current catalog. They do not list Ivory as an option.

    Canadian Differences here??
    My parts book does not list a Pearl White interior.
    Wondering if it's actually the same colour, maybe just a different name?

    Nope, not Canadian differences....

    Just Buick(Pearl White) VS Fischer(Ivory) differences.
    Pearl White = Ivory :Smarty:

    They just wanted to keep us on our toes..... :laugh:
