    Hey everyone,

I was talking to Jim Weise a fwe days back, and he mentioned that there is another board member stuck out here in the hinterlands of Fargo, North Dakota. If whoever that is reads this, let me know, or if anyone knows who that is, clue me in also. Thanks!

Hey, I am a college student going to the North Dakota State College of Science. I have a 1971 Buick Skylark. I'm going to Clone it to a GSX though. I'm going to put a chevy 350 in it with around 450 HP. I'm looking at the Cowl Induction hood that www.usbody.com offers. I think it'll be tits! Would the stencil kit still cover the cowl do you think? Also, I need help with knowing what I'm going to have to do to put that Chevy in. Mods and such........I'm very very interested in these cars and I love the look of these things. They are mean assed cars. I need a driver's side tail light that isn't damaged either..any help? Thanks a bunch guys! Hope I can someday meet ya'll around fargo. I'm originally from Jamestown and will be living in Fargo next year for School. later, Joel:beer

i would go ahead and spread those cheeks becuase you're in for an assramming.

people around here don't take kindly to chevy engines being dropped into an otherwise good car.

yeah ok....I've had nothing but trouble with my buick engine, and it only has 85,000 miles on it. I looked into building a buick 350 and it was gonna cost like 4,500 bucks...and i was only gonna have like 375 hp. for the same amount of money, i can have 450-475 hp out of a chevy. I am a college student with little funds....and I like power. any suggestions ????

buy a nova or a camaro, maybe a chevelle for a bit more.

i'm not going to tell you what to do, just telling you that everyone on this board powers their buicks with buick engines.

i'm a poor highschool student, and i know it's an expensive hobby.

that's not totally true. Not everyone on here power's their buicks with buick engines. I've seen one that has a caddy engine in it, and another one with an oldsmobile engine in it. Oh well, I like my car, and I'll do what I want I guess. It'll be cool to me, just like your's is cool to you.

Here's a suggestion. Take that 350 and and put it where it belongs. In a Chevy. If you really want power build a 455. It'll drop in a hell of lot easier than a damb chevy will plus it'll just blow away any crappy little chev motor.

I say if you want chevy power buy a chevy and leave the Buick for a real entusiast.

Just my .02 worth. Yes it is your car and you can do what you want with it just don't expect to get a lot of respect from anyone but the chevy crowd
