Turned in the TV this morning to find the original Blues Brothers movie on forcabout the millionth time so I watched it having my coffee. The scene where they run out of gas on the way to their big show and then have to wait for the gas delivery. Dan Akroyd is in the store and he steals something automotive related. What is the product and what brand is it? All the years I have seen this movie I never noticed it before. You don’t win anything just an atta-boy.

Yes old Tricos. The famous old red box. The kind I scout swap meets for. There are some hoarders of them out there.

Ha - Same here, having coffee flipping channels this morning and there it is, I have seen this movie 100+ times but cannot not watch it, meanwhile my wife just says seriously......?, big eye roll.

Not sure on the wiper trivia but I have some Buick trivia. My 73 Stage 1 was sold new at Bauer Buick in Harvey IL. the dealer was across the street from the Dixie Square Mall that was closed, used and trashed during the mall chase scenes in 1979 during filming. If you look closely at the exterior chase scenes right before they crash in to the mall you can see that almost every car in the parking lot was a Buick, they were borrowed from Bauer Buick to be parked in the lot to make the mall look occupied.

That may all be true but the new Oldsmobiles were in early that year.

Sorry but everytime I see that gif I laugh and think of my mom when I was small. She would not stop spanking me till she stopped talking/ get her point across and she would make that face. Freaking hilarious.

The first flick has been one of my all time favs for years. Thought the second one, like so many sequels was stupid. A poor attempt to cash in on a really good movie. Theres a handful I'll stop and watch nearly every time I come across them. Shawshank, Castaway, Forrest Gump, any of the Starwars movies to name a few.
