Blueprinted 455 timing cover/oil pump

Cover was cleaned, deburred, passages radiused, oil pump cover refaced, new pump gears set up correctly, new rubber crank seal, new oil filter, all threaded holes good or repaired. Ready to bolt on. Not painted as not everyone uses the same color.

This oil pump has .0025" clearance.
$250 plus shipping with a rebuildable core. Core charge is $75 if yours is not usable or you do not have one.


CORE NOTE. I suggest leaving the water pump and oil pump cover on as I have ways to get the bolts off without breaking them. This saves me work. If it turns out the water pump cavity is corroded too much to reuse it will be returned if you request. Not trying to make it difficult, just fair for both of us.

Is there any certain year that you need for a core?

 

Far as I know they are all the same.

 

Possibly in line. I have a cover with a helicoiled water pump cover bolt hole and one other small water pump bolt broken off. Would that still be a suitable core?

 

Should be if the water pump cavity is not all corroded.

 

Would you have a 10 degree timing tab timing cover set up ?

 

Ok interesting, mine is also a 10 degree cover.

 

I'll need to look. If BBB is like SBB the 10 degree would be 1970 or older.

I have 5 cores and all are 12 degree tab. 2 are dated mid 1971, the other 3 I can't find a date.
