According to the owner, it is a real Stage I. I will put in quotes as to what he emailed me:"bought car like it is from N.Y. yes it is a real stage 1,4 speed car.and i can still get original 2 scoop hood."

I think what he meant on " 2 scoop hood" was ram air. So I guess it might be a real one. well, that's what he told me.
