Oh Now, The stacks are staying. I realize they will be higher than the cab and there will be three of them. Did I mention it has suicide doors and we converted it to RH drive.:TU:
excellent! great car! i hope that you will visit germany someday and show this bomber to the german TÜV. i strongly believe all those guys there at the department for proving cars on road legality would commit suicide. forged pistons are a good idea as are also a new set of roller rockers. to which level are you going to raise the compression? or have i overread this somewhere? are you using special sparkplugs? also the MSD wires?
I like your truck, it looks like alot of fun. Keep us posted on the blower build and dyno numbers.
Very nifty, indeed! I have a few more projects coming to a close in the next two years, and I am going to put a blower in my 66 GS convertible. It came with some hood damage, so I won't mind cutting a hole in it. Dan
I just recieved a call a few days ago from Don Hampton and he said my blower was finished. I had to send him my balancer and lower pulley so he could finish up my blower drive pulley. The pistons are on order from Diamond and should be here shortly. I can not wait to get the engine assembled and running. Oh yea the heads are just about done at this ponit and look great as a lot of work has gone into them. Pics to follow as I get parts.:TU:
