I'm no expert, but it sounds like a pressurized crankcase. Are you running good breathers? PCV baffle?

I've got a breather in the valve cover and a new pcv valve is it sucking oil up at high rpm? how do I go about making a baffle?

Your gonna need to add another breather if your wanting to run at that rpm alot.

just drill a hole in the passenger cover and add a matching breather?

    sounds easy enough.

    thanks:TU:

Are you running a factory steel tray type intake gasket or a TA Performance type paper gasket? The factory intake gasket acts like a PCV baffle so you don't suck oil, but with the TA gasket you need some sort of baffle( a few vendors make them).
I agree that you gonna need two breathers to run the 6K rpm area.

its just a standard fel pro intake gasket kit with the metal valley pan and side gaskets and rubber end seals

You may be FILLING your valve covers full of oil. Check your drainback holes in the head for any blockage.:Do No:

valve covers don't seem to be filling. not supposed to rain tomorow gonna go for a ride and see if the extra breather helps makes me nervous to see all that smoke.
