Anybody have a clue why I might be blowing fuses at over 2500 RPM's? That's the only time it does it.It's the fuse that is for my directional signals and my back-up lights. It's on a 71 Skylark.Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks Jeff B.:Do No:

    Voltage?

Have you checked your alternator output? Could be overcharging...:Do No:

    voltage regulator

does your car still have a voltage regulator ? if so , it sounds like a voltage regulator breaking down under heat and allowing too much voltage to pass thru .
if no voltage regulator , then alternator regulator is bad or whole is unit bad .

Thanks guys!!! I got it figured out!! It was a loose hot wire on the back of the alternator.Tightened it up and everything was solved. Thanks for your input though !!!:beer Jeff B.
