as you may or may not know i have a 350 skylark. i bought a 455 running for $300 but i havent gotten around to putting it in. well, eventually im gonna build a streetable 455 and really try to squeeze some ponies outta it. however, i enjoy my car too much to retire it from being driving on the street so i will keep it relatively modest. my questions are as follows: a friend gave me a nitrous system that he used on his chevies for a while and i want to put it on the 455 eventually and/or go with a small blower to add a few extra HP. i plan on bringing her to the track now and again so with the NOS system on hand where can i get a small blower? i know kenne bell supposedly makes em but i couldnt find anything. same thing with (ATI Procharger)? could you guys list any info you have on this subject or tips/trick you guys have. or even pics or stories of cars like what im shooting for? buick stuff is really hard to come by though. who knows, maybe one day i will cross the country to go to a buick national event and you can all marvel at a blown BBB. as most are im new to buicks, ive worked on chevies most and although i miss the ease of cheap parts and labor i know buicks are worth the time.
I can help out with the blower stuff These two links tell you my trials and tribulations of the blower and tunning............... http://v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20860&highlight=ATI and http://v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26143&highlight=ATI Lots of reading there.. should keep you busy for a while :Brow:
hey rich, thnx for the posts. i think that setup youve got is way too much for me to handle so ill just have a little fun ith my "bottle". im on a budget and i cant afford to go through parts like some others, lol. im still learning about buick performance but what does that type of supercharger you have measure up to the "traditional" blower setup?
