Replaced all the sockets on the buick all new bulbs everything lights up, replaced the flashers, passenger side blinker does not work, the indicator on that side does not light up and the flasher doesn't click on that position.

    Ideas?

    Thanks, Kevin

Check your ground. If it doesn't make a 'click' noice when operating...I'm not sure what to say, because I never heard a click coming from mine. My Dad's Polara actually made a "donk-dong" noise when the directionals worked, but in my Skylark, never heard it.

But I have had bad grounds even when the wires check out. Ripped out my wiring harness chasing one down 3 years ago, it was a bad headlight ground screwing up the entire front harness.

Thanks, the click I was thinking about was the noise you hear from the flasher, if I turn the drivers side blinker on I can hear it click on and off while I get nothing from the passenger side. Do you remember where the grounding spots are for the front harness? Thanks, Kevin

i have the same problem, but i found out what was wrong w/mine it was the new socket i bought from auto zone .the brown wire is funky like it is loose.try pushing the brown wire in the socket better.and it might work mine did ,but every hard bump i hit or tracks i have to go out and fix it.did it ever work.

keven, when you turn the flasher on does that blinker work. if so I think two thing swap flasher with other one in car I know you put in a new one , the other thing with it probley is is inside the colum just under the stering wheel. that blinker {ture signel} plate is broke. good luck . don

grounds are on each side of the core support, inside, next to the spot the headlights' plugs go through the core support.

It could be the turn signal switch in the steering column, but let's hope not!
