Bleeding Anti-lock Brakes On A 96 Century

    MY son got a 96 Century.... which promtly poped a rear brake line :rant: :error:

    well I fixed the line and where do I start with bleeding this car :Do No: :puzzled:

    would love to rip the hole system off the car :shock: but I don't know if I can do that......

    any help appreciated :bglasses: :TU:

    Unless I've missed something (which is entirely possible :rolleyes: ) I've always done my anti-lock cars the same as any other vehicle as far as bleeding goes. If there is some "special procedure" involved I don't know about it and have never done it and never had any problems.

    Same as non ABS brakes. My 1998 Riviera Chassis manual makes mention of an automated bleed procedure using a special scan tool, but that isn't necessary for a simple component replacement like a brake hose. Just bleed them like regular brakes, you should be fine.
