What are you using? I'm looking for a good spray can brand/pn suggestion for a close black paint/gloss level on the middle/lower dash area? Specifically a '69 GS if it matters.

I use SEM trim black 39143 for all my GM abody black interior cars. Sheen IMO is slightly duller than factory but over all its close. It is very forgiving, can go DTM, good quality product if you are going spray can.

I use an acrylic enamel that I flatten with an flattening agent to get the tone that I want. Be careful painting interior pieces, you can commonly get fish eyes in the paint if the surface isn't properly prepared.

Used sem products in past. They have a special cleaner/prep/flex primer and paint for interior pieces. Can get costly . Check with a local upholstery company. I had a dash done for around $40 and can’t tell it wasn’t oe.
