I'd like to get them regardless - I'm in no hurry if you're not. Of course not a big deal/expense to ship but there's also a chance I'll make it up that that way. Happy to pay you for them in the meantime.

Dano, no hurry here. They've been sitting on a shelf packed in a box since I removed them from the car.

Thanks George - I wish I needed them now! The car is a long ways off from being done. Heck, could get the stuff @ next year's Nationals. Happy to have another part crossed off the list. I got very little with the car - It had been apart for a long time. Lmk if you want me to pay you for them - Happy to do so & can send a UPS label too if you want them out of your way.

I will get them boxed up, weighed, and measured this week. As far as I'm concerned they are spoken for by you. I'm not in any hurry either, just trying to clean up the garage

FYI for front bench seats only,

    69-70 are the same
    71-72 are the same.

The only difference between the 2 types is with the plastic piece that is mounted underneath the headrests.

    69-70 units have a contoured/molded plastic piece.
71-72 units have a flat die-cut plastic piece, and the plastic push pin locations are different, but I imagine you can put your own holes in the headrests if needed.

As always, thanks Duane! I'll have to look more closely at that difference now.

    Dano,
As far as exterior appearance is concerned, you really need to look at the diameter of the beading that is sewn into the headrests.

The originals (and the ones I made) use a thin beading. Most reproductions use a “fatter” (larger diameter) beading because it is much easier to sew them on. You really need to be careful when you use the thin beading because you can easily sew over it and ruin the cover.

Anyway, that is the way you can tell an original cover from a reproduction. That is unless you are looking at one of my seats.

This was one of my pet peeves.

Nice - Good to know. Yet another reason to not use repro parts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
