Billet wheels

A while back a member posted that he was having Aluminum Billet wheels that resembled the Buick sport wheels made. At the time I looked at the link to the manufacturer of the wheels but forgot to bookmark it. As I recall the wheels were 17 or 18 inch wheels with a 5-5 bolt pattern. If he is looking, could he post a response to my request for info as to the manufacturer?

May have been me. If so, circle racing no longer has a website unfortunately

Rats! I think it was you Scott, and I googled Circle Racing and found a post that they are out of business. Several suppliers list 17 or 18" billet wheels, but all that I could find was 4 3/4 bolt circle. I really want the larger diameter wheels, so I may have to go in a different direction. I just love the look of the Sport Wheels.
Jim, it appears that Stockton Wheels does primarily steel wheels. If I go any route except the big Buick sport wheels, I will use Aluminum wheels.

I understand the advantage of an aluminum billet wheel vs stock, but what is the advantage of using a larger diameter wheel (17") over the stock 15" Buick wheel?

    Thanks

I had called them prior to ordering, and remember talking to (maybe the owner?) and he stated he had made himself some custom rallies in 17 or 18 for his 68 or 9 Riviera.

Thanks Korrie - I will look into it. The 17" wheels look great, but I'm not sure about the backspacing. If it will work, you just cost me about $3 grand.

Plus finder's fee. Just kidding, hope you get 'em.

These are beautiful, but I'm looking for Aluminum billet wheels. I have bookmarked the site however.

I've scoured the ole'interweb looking at wheels and haven't seen forged or billet wheels in 5x5 for full size cars off the shelf. Have seen the 5x4.75 for A bodies - but they seem to have evaporated. These folks will make you just about whatever you want: https://www.evodindustries.com/one-offs They have the drawings for the full size Buick Rally too - see below. This kind of bespoke wheel will be some bucks...
