I came across these 17" & 18" Buick Rallye Wheels while surfing the Newstalgia Wheel website last week:

These are fairly new so I'm not sure how many of you knew about them. They're a bit pricey but they look pretty darn nice. Only one customer has ordered a set so far (according to Newstalgia Wheel)

I'll be ordering a set of these for my GSX Resto Mod. I'm thinking 17" right now because I want to run the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials on the Rear.

I tend to like Musclecars with the Original Size wheels, in fact I have a brand new set of 15" rallye wheels with BFG's that are on the car now but I wanted to try the 17's as well. My car has a bit of Pro Touring theme to it so we'll see how they look. I'll post pics once we receive them.

Here's a rendering we had made up with a bigger Buick Style wheel:

I was wondering when they'd do the Buick ones. They had them for Mopar and Chevy for a while now.

They'll look great with those redline 17'' drag radials from the Ad inside the back cover of this month's Hemmings :TU:

I like your rendering more than the rally repops...spokes make a bigger statement.

Good point, tough call. I'm really not sure which ones would look the best. They're to much money to buy em both and decide from there.

    Decisions, decisions!

I'd love to have a set of those, but that is a LOT of coin for wheels.

Hovering right around 600, just enough to make it fun! (The car only weighs 3,300 so it moves out pretty good)

I just checked the price on these wheels. They are now at:
    $626.20 - $679.61

That is some serious bacon for wheels.

Have to do some research but I thought there was a guy on the board that could weld your existing centers into a 16 or 17 in wheel for a reasonable price?

There's a guy who will weld 14" centers into 15" hoops (centers are the same), but I don't know about larger diameters. I'd think it'd start to look pretty silly by 17".
