It was more like a lengthy ad for LMC Truck and some tool Company. He couldn't be bothered to finish it up or even start it for us by the end - very disappointing. :(

I tuned in late; just in time for the LMC infomercial. I saw the cam on the workbench and an overhead view of the carb and intake (Eddy; wonder where the good 800 cfm qjet went?). I’m guessing the heads were Eddy, too? And, bolted on without any inspection or prep work?

Actually, there was a great many TA parts, heads, cam, front cover, valley shield, rockers, timing set and valve covers. Edelbrock intake and carb where their major contribution.

I suspect they would rather bolt on than deal with rebuilding a Q-jet, which would take more than a 30 minute show (18 minutes after commercials, open and close credits) can handle.

All in all, it was more than a Buick often gets on major TV shows.

I really like that Road Kill has proper respect for Buicks.

There was a decent amount of TA performance talk. I thought you needed a TA intake for the stage 1 eliminator heads and that the B4B intake doesn’t work with them because of the raised runners.

it started out great but then turned into a commercial for roll around mechanic stools and such. Still was great advertisement for TA, and Stacy did give the 455 props. "one of the most feared engines of the muscle car era, with some tweeking."

Wow! I guess I’ll try to catch our ‘15 minutes’ (literally) of fame. Good to know they did more than I expected!

Roadkill is my favorite of all the car reality shows.

The 455 was supposidly rebuilt 30,000 miles before but that timing chain he took out was worn out something aweful..Didn't even show it running after I think..He drove 2 feet in the shop at the end but it had to be before the mods, and it didn't sound right as I think I heard some small back fires??

Both shows are part of motor trend. I think they’re on YouTube. For sure on motor trend on demand.

Roadkill garage is Dave frieburger and Steve dulcich and they basically take something and get it running using stuff around his shop. More wrench work and less nonesense driving around.

Hotrod garage is similar but usually a budget or goal in mind and more tech.
