GSX10/10 (Scott Adcock), posted this post. http://v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23756 i offered to mail them to him for inspection and if he didnt want/like them, he could mail them back to me and reimburse my postage. if he liked them a wanted to keep them, he said he would send me a postal money order for $45. 8-14 03 he replies "Yep. I got them yesterday. They look pretty good but I have been at work alot this week and haven't had time to really look at them." on 8-21-03 he said "I had a chance to polish them up last night and they look good, so I will get a money order your way tomorrow." then on 9-09-03 he sent "I'm sorry. I have been out of town with business the past few days. I will get a MO out in the mail today. They cleaned up quite well. Thanks agian." after sending scott numerous e-mails (through v8buick PMs and regular emails), and him replying that he would get my mula in the mail the next day, nothing has happened(for over a month). my latest email to him was read at 9am on 9-22-03(aol lets you see when an aol email recipient opens an email) but i have gotten no reply.... i'm pretty sure i have been taken.
I sent GSX10/10 a PM the other day after yuk notified me this happened. No response yet. I'm very interested to see if this guy comes through. If not, then there are only so many ways the v8buick folks can help out. But let's hope he has just fallen asleep at the keyboard and wakes up soon.
Did our marketing director ever pay for YOUR parts. What a bum. You would think that someone in a position of authority over other would be a man of integrity. Maybe he'll come though, the bum.
i got his "payment" today. i stressed to him from the beginning about needing payment with a postal money order ...he sent some other money order so now i cant cash it at my post office.... if i put it in my checking account it could cause a ripple in my attempts to get my disability/ssi payments started. now i just need to find a place where i can cash it ....and they are gonna probably want a cashing "fee" .... well at least i wont be out ALL of the money. and i would like to thank adam :TU: for his help, i think it was was just enough kick in the azz to get this guy to the mailbox.and thanks mike g for bumping my post to the correct place (i thought that was where i posted in the first place, but i guess i goofed). yak @ ya'all later
