I am going to dye my door panels and I was wondering what the best way to clean them before I dye them. What is the best solution to use? Has anyone else done this before? If so any help would be great! Don
There are probably dozens of cleaners that would work well. I think, rather than just clean, it also needs to be "etched" if you will. There are cleaners out there that will dull vinyl and get it ready for a new topcoat. I think Eastwood sells it. I'm sure the upholstery experts will chime in shortly though.
Cleaning solutions Ive had the best luck with Mr cleans magic eraser's. These are cheap to buy, and work great for interiors. Just get em wet and scrub.
