Went to a local end of season cruize-in/car show today. 115 entries and I can say honestly my 66 Skylark GS was the best Buick there. Before you think I am bragging, you guessed it, I was the 1 and only Buick at the show. And no, I didn't get a trophy. It was one of those top 25 deals judged by a local Vette club. I didn't feel to bad because there were some top of the heap HIGH $ cars there that got no trophy either. By some strange twist of fate many of the Corvette club cars done really well, go figure. On the up side I talked to some old friends and it was a perfect day. I don't give two hoots about trophies any how. It was fun however to listen to the crybabies moan about how their car was so much better than so and so's car that did trophy. Hoping to have at least a few more nice days to take a ride in the GS before nasty weather hits. Hope everyone had a nice weekend, back to the salt mines tomorrow! Mike
