Best 350...

    What is the best years for the buick threefidity??? Im considering picking up one and doing a getto twin turbo. But as projects go it will be at least a year B4 turbos and such get looked at... And hope fully SOMEONE (Jim) comes out w/aluminum heads.

    I was thinking a Regal, dark red, and charcoal, GNX clone or atleast T-type, TT SBB, 6speed...

    That was a "Pump Gas" race... I don't think there are many Turbo 6's can run 10's on 93:(

    I never seen the race advertised... can't go if you don't know. Only Advertise it in the chevy world and you sure to get a chevy winner. :blast: :blast:

    I'm pretty sure I've read that that GN has a Chevy 350 under the hood.

    The later year blocks have some casting porosity problems. I have a 78 block in my 71 now, and found one leak on the pressure side of the oiling system feeding the rear main. The molds got sloppy in the later years, but do have a bit more reinforcement in the rear of the block. All Turbo Buicks have the Buick built 3.8 (231 cu.in.) V-6 NOT a Chevy V-8, :laugh: Mark

    Yeah, from what I hear that GN had a Chevy in it. So, an early 70's block would be the best bet...
