i have always said that my dad drank enough for both of us.

my lifetime alcohol consumption would easily fit into a gallon jug ....
but i really like "Brass Monkey" by the Beastie Boys, and "I Drink Alone" by GT & the DDs,

anybody like any of the malt based tea or citrus beverages? i remember when the original california coolers came out in the early 80s. thought they were for sissys! but times change, and some of the new tea drinks are pretty good, especially really cold on a hot day :TU: twisted teas, jack daniels coolers, hornsbys ciders, all really good ice cold. my favorite "float the river" drink? mickeys bigmouths! skunky as heck, but with a recloseable lid and a quick chug bottle, they are my choice on the water. is the point of drinking to catch a buzz? absolutely!! that is why i also drink strong coffee, some herbal teas, mountain dew, as well! as long as getting drunk isnt the only reason to drink, i am all for it. :spank:

    Any other Scotch fans here?

    Talisker

    Lagauvolin

...in small does only though. Great to have a shot with a good Alberta steak. (The mad cow thing's a cover, we're just keeping it all for ourselves)

Renee, I couldnt agree with you more...It's my favorite!

Over the years I've went from being a "HARD" drinker to being a "Seasonal" drinker...and may give it up completely soon...

With (2) little boys depending on me, its beginning to loose a lot of its appeal...

PBR ME ASAP!! Although I have some St. Paulie Girl bottles in the fridge for when I have guests. I try to keep a bottle of Merlot or vodka, rum and some kind of juice in case I happen to have a female guest. Can't beat the single life!!:TU:

When in the Army, I drank like a fish, bring a good DAT.

Being much older (and maybe wiser?), now it's a monthly Shiner Bock or maybe some Maker's Mark. I just can't live like that anymore...

Now my eyes light up at the sight of a cold Dr Pepper from the Dublin, TX plant, where they still use the original recipe with Pure Cane Sugar, wheeeeee!!!

I just cracked open the first of a Belgian Ale that I bottled a week and a half ago. Yummy...... I've got a Wheat double bock in the Carbouy that I want to bottle in the coming week. I've also got a Pilsner kit in the fridge that I'd like to get started this weekend. All that should have me set up for a while. It would be ~15 gallons total.:beer

I just cracked open the newest bottle of Seagram's 7 at my local bar and proceeded to try to empty it once again. Again I failed.:Dou: On the bright side....I did burn about 40 million brain cells!. The older I get, the less I remember. :Do No: Oh Well....It's nothing that 14 hours of sleep won't cure! Good Night All!:beer
