If I remember correctly, this car was offered here on the board within the past few years. LINK HERE These '61 Bubble Top cars are just beautiful, and to find one with low original miles but with brake and electrical upgrades already done...........well........let me say I am tempted.
That's a very nice LeSabre :TU: The engine bay needs some detailing, I like the airride system and the rims: Click here for a video :Comp:
Here is the link from a prior sale. LeSabre More great pictures......this looks like a REALLY nice car!
Neat looking car, this is the one that got me started looking for a bubbletop a few years ago. The brake and wheel upgrade was done at the same shop in Ohio (Street Machinery) that did mine. IIRC, it sold for low thirties a few years ago. Will be interesting to see where the price ends, if it gets much higher I may have to put mine up for sale. :>)
Everythings for sale indeed! Its a great looking car, but I dont care for the brightly painted caliper trend. Im sure they are great brakes and everything, they just take away from the body lines of the car IMO.
That is the way they come...... ---------- Post added at 02:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:27 PM ---------- Nope, not true. Dog's not for sale. Neither is the 65, 69 or 70. Now the others........
The red calipers are looking great together with the blue body and the white roof. Exactly the same colours you will find in the Buick tri-shield in the grille :TU:
The owner took more of a hit than that based on what he bought it for a few years ago and then put into it. He was actually willing to take less from a local buyer but I didn't need three bubbletops!
 I would have never thought this car would sell for that LOW !!! Like others here I fell for this car the min I saw it years ago on the board.
I was close to buying this exact car 5 years ago for almost $20k more. Since then it's had less than 2000 miles added and triple plated chrome bumper work done. They run it on eBay without a reserve
