Are TA's grooved main bearings and the Federal Mogul bearings avaliable from Summit both made from the same manufacturer (that might be a stupid question because Federal M. probably is a manufacturer)? A previous thread gave me the part number for the Federal Mogul bearing. The part number is avaliable through Summit. If you do a search on the Summit page, you have to put the part # in (FEM-4664M). The Summit price is $75.39 (I should thank Scott for the helpful info). I am not sure what TA's price is. TA did tell me that their grooved bearing is harder and better for racing, but not meant for daily use. Thanx for any help.
