The Portland chapter of the BCA is hosting a NW Regional Meet Aug. 15,16&17 in the Salem, OR area. This 3 day event includes a Friday night social gathering, a Saturday tour and of course the Sunday car show. It is open to all Buick bodied vehicles - BCA members and non-members. We have expanded our annual ALL BUICK show to include other activities. Parking on the grass in a neat setting at the Powerland Museum in Brooks, OR on Sunday. The Sunday show is peer judged with awards in 11+ classes and runs from 9 AM to 3 PM. My registration form is going into today's mail. My family and I are looking forward to it. We'll be driving our '71 Centurion, which my parents bought new at one of the Portland area dealerships. Are you receiving a strong response?
Brian We are getting a very strong response. Not many from the V-8 Board group but plenty of BCA people. Cars from as far away as Nor Cal & Montana as well as a good mix. We also think we have a great weekend planned with all th activites - not just the Sunday show. At last count over 30 rooms where booked at the host hotel. Remember that this event is open to BCA and non-BCA cars. Just bring a Buick and come have fun.
