hey guys, back i may, i posted a thread called bbb chevy truck 1/8 mile time. so finally here's the 1/4 mile slip: 1.864 60 ft. 8.077 1/8 mile 12.785 1/4 mile by the way, this is still the old "beater" motor out of my grandmothers '71 electra:grin: i did, however, have to put an old crane cam i had in it when i replaced the cam bearings. b4b, holley 850, hooker headers, hei with pertronix flame thrower. as i type this, i couldn't be more pleased with it i am about 2 months from completing the "monster motor" that i'm building. the desk top dyno puts it in at 581 hp and 605 tq :shock: that's a lot more than i was expeting. i don't have a clue how i'm going to get all that power to the ground in this truck, but it'll be fun trying.
