I am a Cleveland resident (Ohio) but had an absentee sent in b/c im in my senior year in college in Alabama (Mobile). What a mess they send me the candidate list and forget the ballot then they send me the ballot about a week later. I predict it will be a few weeks before we know who wins. Anyone else with similar problems?
I saved myself the trouble of absentee ballots and just registered here at State College since I go to Penn State, but I was just talking to a friend from Virginia about his absentee ballot and he had to have a witness watch him vote but not see who he voted for, then put it in an envelope, have himself and his witness sign the outside of the envelope, then place it in another envelope so no one will know its a ballot. The first time he forgot the second envelope so they sent it back, and he spilled soda all over it. Oh well, he was gonna vote for the person I oppose anyway. :grin:
