balancing 455 connecting rods

I can't believe the machine shop did that. The weight is designed to be removed from the sides of the caps/rods! Another engine builder that isn't well-versed in Buicks.

If they were mine, I'd scrap them and start over. No sense in taking a chance on making one of those "ventilated oil pans" :laugh:

 

Sure, I'd put those in a Chevy......:TU:

 

they ought to be shot. those are junk now unfortunately.
