Does anyone know what the backspace is on the factory alloy wheels for these?

    Thanks for any help.

    Almost an answer...

Not sure about the Roadmaster wheels, but the stock Impala wheels are a bit over five inches, if your trying to determine fitment issues. Those rims are 17 x 8.5 and a lot of guys slap 'em onto Roadmasters no problem.

    Hope this helps.

    Ken,

Thanks. I know a lot of guys are putting the SS wheels on the wagons, but I want to be different! I have the tires for this thing, and I need an 8" wheel for the rear, 15" diameter. I want to put Cragar SS's on it, but I think I might need more than the standard Cragar backspacing to avoid taking a hammer to the wheel opening lip.
I was wondering on the stock backspace to avoid taking one off the car myself - its cold and snowing today. Grrrrrr.

    Mark-

Are you a member of the http://www.impalassforum.com ? There's a lot of RM talk over there. If you are a member, I'll bet those guys could answer your question. If not, I'd be more than happy to post your question for you!

    Ken,

Duh, I wasn't thinking clearly evidently! I've been a member there for a couple years now - XWrench is my handle.

Thanks for getting my mind right.

    No Problem!

With the overlap of the 94-96 B-Body series Buicks and Chebbies, it's easy to understand.

I'll look for your post over on that forum...
