I still need two of these if youse guys have any... I think they are called backrest hinge rod end caps, they are for a 1970GS/Skylark. I looked at Bowling Green, there was one car in the concours class with a bench seat and it had them, so I am pretty sure they are correct for a Buick only...
My 72 has them , but they are half-round and smooth , not flat like yours. I picked up something that looks identicle to yours at The Home Depot, believe it or not!
I did and the new ones from NPD are close but not the same. I told IB to buy them since finding Buick versions will not happen. You know........some guys are "real" particular..........right Jim???????????? :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
I really just need the one... I figured surely I could find some at B.G. but no luck. Out of 12,000 members here somebody surely has a junk bench seat out of a 70 Skylark that has one... Most of the bench seat 1970 cars I looked at were missing the caps. Sooner or later George will find a couple of them and send them to me(maybe)... Thanks Bert
