So... Electrical gremlins.... All lights work as they should except my back up lights. I'm not getting 12 volts to the sockets. Ground is ok and Bulbs are ok. I guess it's the back up light switch ? Where would this be hiding on a 66 gs 4 speed ? I have a hurst shifter on it. Thanks.
The switch would have work off the reverse linkage. There is a good chance it is no longer present, especially if the car was converted from an automatic transmission to a manual transmission after it left the factory.
