What year and model auto was the donor?

    i will find out.,they are marked b.o.p. 323 12 bolt.
i measured across the face of the ring gear and it is 8.2 inches
    they are marked 42-13 G.M.
I got these in trade and have no use for them,,,
would trade for 4.11 gears for a 7.5 inch G.M.
    THANKS

i could be interested, but i need to give you some info to id it

if fuicks had 12 bolts in them they where chevells

if olds had a 12 bolt it was oldsmobiles version of a 12 bolt, which was a 12 bolt HD housing with 8.2/8.5 (unique to those 12 bolts) 10 bolt carier..its not like an 8.5 used in the 70s its a unique animal

if pontiac used a 12 bolt it was a chevelle rear

of course, ive pulled many olds 12 bolts out of many A-boys that 20 years swapped in

post the pinion part number and the part number on the ring gear, and if it works for me, i will take them, and at worst, i will help u ID them

3.23 is a great ratio and I'd be tempted to buy them myself. But I dont think you're going to get any action until you clarify what these came out of...I suggest you look up MONZAZ here on the board and see if he can help you ID the set. If we can confirm they are from a 65-67 BOP 8.2 axle, I'll take them and you can consider yourself paid....if not, there's a market for these whether they're 12 Bolt Chevy, 12 Bolt Olds, early or late 10 bolt BOP, etc.. good luck, ands please let us know how you make out.
