i installed a b&m shift-kit in my th-400 transmission and the instructions was to remove the spring from the accumulator. i did that and put the piston back in and the metal seal on it broke,will that cause a problem? someone please give me some good news.
Find a transmission shop and get a good used ring for the accumulator. You don't want any unnecessary leaks past the piston there. Devon
