Can anyone enlighten me about how long the stock 28 spline axle shafts are in a 71 Sklark with a 8.5 10 bolt? Due to the use of a mysterious aftermarket posi unit, my shop is telling me I need a slightly longer axle shaft (they had to install shims when installing the set of 3.42 gears). I'm thinking of going with Moser custom axles since a complete 12 bolt is alot of money.
