Not to thread jack or anything but this brings up a question for those of you with some track experince. Who does pay for something like that? Is it a, if you race you are SOL if someone comes across the line and destroys your car? Or how does that work?
wow that does suck a lot. i'd asume it's just part of racing and would need to be settled in the parking lot. that is a shame. it's almost like the guy in the pickup stayed on the gas though when he was sideways across the track. although things do happen quickly. freaky.
They put up giant steel and concert barriers down the sides, why not one down the middle??? Actually Id like to see sand or stone traps for the sides say after so many feet. 20-30 feet wide on each side.
What do they do I am pretty sure that you sign a waiver for just this type of incident!, Also I think that you have to have some sort of insurance? Wouldn't ya? uzzled:
